WHY TOWNSHIP TV ….
Township TV (MTN Ekasi TV) in partnership with various
municipalities nationawide offers you a unique opportunity
to reach the masses and a captive audience.
Currently, Township TV is operational in Diepsloot (2 sites),
Diepkloof (Soweto), Eldorado Park, Lenasia, Ivory Park,
Joubert Park, Thokoza (Soweto), Orange Farm, Elandsdoorn (Limpopo), Makhushane Camp
(Limpopo), Makhushane Camp (Phalaborwa), Siluma
Kwenele (Katlehong), Mhluzi (Middelburg), Ethafeni
(Tembisa), KwaThema (Springs), Mtubatuba (Richards Bay),
Orlando West, Masoyi (White River), KwaMashu (KZN)
Motherwell (Port Elizabeth), George and Uitenhage.
The 4x3m screens are switched on at 2pm daily.
So, after school, the kids have their own
playground/TV educational facility in a safe, secure
environment with 24 hour security.
Township TV has the full DSTV bouquet – and we
schedule the programming weekly.

17h00 – Channel 0
18h00 - Trace
19h00 - PSL Live Soccer

Attendances vary depending on what’s on TV – the PSL nights on Wed /Fri nights can attract up to 5000 people per park and the same goes for weekends. It is free access to the Parks.
DSTV
With the full DSTV bouquet, we can show programming to the majority of the people that would normally not be able to afford it including the educational programmes for kids, the PSL games during the week and weekends, English Premiership plus the Proteas and Bok games.
The average viewing time per person per day ranges between 1 and 3 hours.
SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY
Township TV is changing the lives of people every day and we envisage it will become one of the biggest social responsibility projects in SA.
